Long-Drive Golf Champion Overcomes Health Challenge

Rocky Bowlby shows off his golf skills at Celebration 2006.

Chandler, Ariz. – Dec. 1, 2006 – Long-drive golf champion Rocky Bowlby from Sandy, Utah, said he might have "cheated death" when doctors successfully removed a "golf-ball-sized" throat tumor that threatened his life. Bowlby said he has now been cancer free for four years.

Top Isagenix leaders Tony and Randi Escobar, Bowlby’s close friends, presented Bowlby with Isagenix products as a gift when they heard he needed the surgery. Tony told Bowlby he’d need the nutrition.** "I took the products 30 days before and after the surgery," said Bowlby. "I also took double-doses of the Isagenix Antioxidants."

Bowlby said his doctor, Mark Brown, M.D. of the Austin Regional Clinic, told him he was amazed with his health. "I’ll never forget his words: ‘Listen boy, I don’t know what you’re eating, what you’re drinking or what God you’re praying to, but I’m telling you right now, you keep doing it.’"

Bowlby said he was playing golf within a week after the surgery.

It would be the second time Bowlby tried the Isagenix products. "I knew they worked because I had tried the Isagenix Cleansing and Fat Burning System before and lost 25 pounds," he said.* At that point, however, Bowlby wasn’t as interested in Isagenix.

But now Bowlby actively shares Isagenix, even on the green. He’s finding business success with Isagenix, recently achieving the Executive rank and earning a free vacation as part of Isagenix’s Adventures in Paradise Contest.

Bowlby said he wants to use his renewed health to accomplish his greatest financial and athletic goals with Is-agenix. "Before, the light at the end of the tunnel was dimming," said Bowlby. "Now there’s a new light at the end of the tunnel."
